My Life Fulfilled

I quest for marriage and fame like twin felicities,
Metaphors of victory over all my defeats in life,
For the falconry of my verse to soar to the stars,
And with Universal fragrances to fill the hearts of posterity,
For the prize of a woman with supreme beauty,
A heart purer than gold, and sage like wisdom.

These fulfilled will be the everlasting fountains for my thirst,
Confirmations of my faith in God,
Like two trophies hung amid the zodiacs.

I fall in love daily with gorgeous princesses,
Yet they are like profound mysteries and crypts,
The quest futile until I discover the princess that brightens my mortality,
The gift of God, Capricorn and predestiny,
Like the moon’s heavenly sphere shining upon our divine romance,
Like Laila’s lovely face, resembling white lilies and blushing roses,
She is appearing into my life from the hidden chambers of the East,
The Alpha and rebirth of my life.
