A Prayer

Gods’ empire extends beyond the universe,
Our planet but a speck of dust in the limitless cosmos,
The most Supreme of all wisdoms.
Instruct me in the infancy of my wisdom,
Make my personality into a monument of excellence,
Defined as the sapphire union of sky and ocean,
Make my life’s quest for you an all quenching oasis,
My thirsty being for the fulfilment of all my desires,
Till humanity is before me like an open scroll,
All her secrets and realities revealed.
