Garlands on the Graves

The graves are where the dead are thought to rest,
and in them their remains,
and the graves recieve garlands of flowers,
and people mourn at their sites,
though it is not there that they abide,
their souls have gone elsewhere
and discarded their mortal bodies
and they are far from their graves,-
but some do not believe so,
and feel death is a dreamless sleep,
and that is indeed,
the real horror of the grave-
