Welcome To Taimur Awan's Poetry

My Faith

My faith was once like a granite fortress,
That ruthless armies could not destroy.
Faith, the raiser out of the depths of misery and despair,
My chorus of loud cheerleaders,
My hopes of the fresh dawn of eternal life,
Now lies like a forever wrecked tower.
Yet her heavenly and divine love,
Elevates me to the towering heights of salvation.
