Welcome To Taimur Awan's Poetry

Fulfilment

Many consider worldly life
To be an episode of suffering,
Like a pilgrimage thru endless valleys of feet bleeding thorns.
We aspire to the skies,
For the fulfilment of our dream’s aspirations and desires,
Yet like an eagle with cut wings,
Are bound to the level Sahara.

God, allow me entrance into the flowery meadows,
Vast expanses – let me soar like a falcon
Above all the summits of happiness,
Provide me with an oasis to quench my thirst,
Grant fulfilment to all my desires.
